Street Fighter

It is difficult to decide the best fighting game ever, but one that stands out above all is Tekken. Tekken series gets better with each installment and the seventh has just been release to arcades in Japan. While we wait for Tekken to come stateside we will need to get our fighting fix from Street Fighter.

Street Fighter 4 has been released on both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. It has been getting great reviews from all of the video game publications as well as the reviews online. But what is even more important than that for the success of a game like this, the fans of the original games love this installment as much as any of the others.

Fans of the series are falling in love with the characters; all of the original characters are represented here as well as some new characters. All your favorites are back with all of the signature moves that made the original games so great. The series really hit its stride when the second game was released into the arcades in the early nineties. The game was so popular; it spawned many sequels and even a couple of not so great live action movies. The movies really were bad if you are a fan of movies, but if you were a fan of the games, it was neat to see all of your favorite characters on the screen.

With the latest installment, although the graphics have been updated, they kept it looking close to the original. The characters look new again, but maintain their classic appeal. The fighting feels new, but yet familiar and anyone who has played the other games will be able to jump right into the action.

Another great new and improved feature is that you can play against people from all around the world, via the Internet. It is a great way to test your skills and competitors that challenge you.
