Some flick fanatics may get their fix from Netflix today, but that needs waiting for a disk to become available and to be dispatched by mail to your home.

Buffy became a wildly popular series for the WB Network. It lasted for 7 seasons and went on to spawn graphic novels, Nintendo games, books and a spin-off that lasted five seasons. In 2002, When Whedon announced the end of Buffy in 2002, CW rival Fox residences jumped at the chance to produce Whedon’s next enterprise, a show entitled ‘Firefly’.

Satellite T. V brings a gigantic choice of films and other great programming into your living room so you never need to go search anyplace else. It is feasible to find anything from a Hollywood hit like The Dark Knight to a documentary about the food industry in America.

With such a wide variety of films available on these channels there’s practically never a need to go spend the cash on a DVD or a rental.

Despite being helmed by Joss Whedon and produced by Fox, Firefly was met with a less than stellar reaction. The show tended to average only 4.7 million viewers per episode and never managed to rank above 98 in the Nielsen Ratings. Having only been online for 3 months, Firefly was cancelled in December of 2002. Only eleven of the fourteen produced episodes ever saw air.

Entertainment fans in the UK can find it tough to see all of the best award show moments due to time differences and showing schedules. That’s the reason why digital TV recorders, like Sky Boxes, can help capture all of the moments, making them prepared to observe whenever convenient.

Despite their best efforts, the cancellation of Firefly stuck but their efforts did set off a fast release for the show onto DVD. Due in large part to the Browncoat’s continuing fan activities, Universal lofts Hollywood optioned a ‘Firefly’ feature film. With all nine main characters reprising their roles, the film ‘Serenity’ was debuted at number 2 during it’s first week of release ; September 2005, a trifling 3 years since the series’ started.

My favorite actress received one of her many awards for her portrayal of Lieutenant Tennison, this one for an Emmy ( also receiving one for Elizabeth. She has recounted that she’s not Jane Tennison, yet she becomes her and develops as each program is aired.
