The music game genre continues to grow more and more popular each day, and it was only a matter of time before Rock Band gave of the opportunity to experience on of the greatest bands of all times. The Beatles: Rock Band, allows gamers to portray their favorite Beatles member, and experience a little Beatlemania, from the other side of the spectrum.
Due out September 9th of this year, The Beatles: Rock Band heralds the coming of one of the most requested musical acts in the history of the Rock Band series. Using the musical clout of publisher MTV, The Beatles have finally given their hard to come by blessing for this unique video game. The game no one ever believed would happen is almost here and whether you’re a long time Beatles fan or an avid rhythm gamer it’s going to be a watershed moment when the game is finally released.
The Beatles: Rock Band has forty five of some of the most memorable Beatles songs ever. You can choose to play guitar, bass, drum or utilize your vocal abilities in karaoke style. There are songs for all fans including, Can’t Buy Me Love, Revolution and I Am the Walrus. Game play is also exciting as you can play alone, with friends, or online with people from around the world.
Everybody’s favorite Rock band feature will also be available on this new release. you will have the ability to download additional tracks from the Internet, ad XBox 360 users will be able to get a crack at The Beatles: Rock Band DLC. DLC will also be available for Wii and PS3 but they will have to wait patently for this. Game downloads cost the same as all other Rock Band games, therefore you can expect to pay around two or three dollars per each additional song.
There is one difference with The Beatles: Rock Band, that many may see as a drawback to the game. Due to the licensing restriction, you will only be able to play downloadable Beatles tracks with the Beatles game. There is not interactivity allowed with Rock Band 1 and Rock Band 2 tracks. The Beatles tracks will not be able to be downloaded onto your hard drive and you are also not able to utilize other DCL while playing The Beatles: Rock Band.
The Beatles: Rock Band is going to be one of the biggest Rock Band successes to date. It gives music gaming lovers the chance to experience some of the greatest music the world has every come across.
